Marbella

Marbella is the most important tourist and urban centre on the Costa del Sol.

Marbella has some 85 000 rightful inhabitants which reach 200 000 in the summer and various important urban nuclei in addition to Marbella with highlights such as San Pedro de Alcantara, Las Chapas and El Angel.


Situated about 50 kilometres from Malaga, its municipal boundary of almost 25 kilometres of coast are extended to the feet of the Sierra Blanca which serves to protect against the northern winds, creating a privileged subtropical microclimate.
